TRIBAL LIFELINE PROGRAM:

 

 ENHANCED LIFELINE;

Provides reduced monthly charges to telephone customers who qualify. Many qualifying customers can obtain basic local service for as little as $1 per month. Basic service includes local calls, toll free calls, and 911 service.

 

TRIBAL LINK-UP PROGRAM

EXPANDED LINK-UP;

Provides reduced connection charges to telephone customers who qualify. A credit of up to $100 to reduce the cost of initial connection charges and line extension fees will be provided.

The credit applies on the main home telephone line listed in the name of the eligible telephone subscriber. This program does not cover inside wiring.

  • Applicants must live on tribal lands and participate in at least one of the following public assistance programs to qualify:

  • MEDICAID
  • SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY
  • INCOME (SSI)
  • FEDERAL PUBLIC HOUSING
  • ASSISTANCE
  • LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY
  • ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
  • BIA GENERAL ASSISTANCE
  • PROGRAM
  • TRIBALLY ADMINSTRATIVE
  • TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR
  • NEEDY FAMILIES
  • HEAD START(MEETING INCOME TEST)
  • *NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAMS
